Our Story

About Jessy C Yoga

Jessy C Yoga is a space for intentional, nervous-system-friendly movement—designed for real life, real bodies, and real seasons.


My approach blends yoga, breathwork, and reflection with an emphasis on choice, accessibility, and self-trust. Practices are invitational rather than prescriptive, and rest is always an option.


You don’t need to be flexible, spiritual, or experienced with yoga to belong here.

My Approach

I offer yoga as a supportive practice, not a performance.


Classes and offerings are shaped by:


  • trauma-informed principles
  • nervous system and somatic awareness
  • seasonal and nature-based rhythms
  • gentle strength, mobility, and rest
     

Rather than pushing toward intensity or transformation, my work invites regulation, curiosity, and steadiness—the kind that can be returned to again and again.


Each practice stands alone. You’re never behind.

Symbolism & Reflection

 Some offerings include symbolic reflection tools such as tarot, mudra, or guided prompts. These elements are used as metaphor and meaning-making, similar to journaling or visualization.


Tarot is never used predictively, and participation is always optional. You’re welcome to engage in whatever way feels most supportive to you.

  • seasonal workshops and pop-ups
  • occasional live virtual offerings
  • reflective practices that support embodiment and insight
     

All practices are designed to be flexible, accessible, and pressure-free.

About Me

 I’m Jessy—yoga teacher, facilitator, and lifelong learner with a deep interest in mental health, somatics, social justice, and nature-based practices.

I am a Yoga Alliance–registered E-RYT 500, with:


  • 200 hours in Mental Health & Therapeutic Yoga, with an emphasis on somatics and nervous system regulation
  • 300 hours in a social justice–focused yoga training, centering accessibility, inclusion, and equity
     

I am also:

  • Nature-Certified through ExploreMore, integrating outdoor, ecotherapy-informed, and place-based practices
  • Basic Acro Yoga certified, bringing an understanding of trust, play, and partner-based movement (used thoughtfully and accessibly, not as a performance focus)
     

My work is informed by ongoing education, lived experience, and a commitment to continuous learning. I don’t believe yoga is something you ever “finish”—it’s something you stay in relationship with.


I’m also the founder of Creekside Therapeutics, where I work in a clinical setting. Jessy C Yoga is a separate, non-clinical space, though it’s informed by the same values of compassion, autonomy, and care.


Yoga offerings through Jessy C Yoga are not therapy, but they are created with deep respect for emotional and nervous system wellbeing.
